2'' Uniseal

Uniseals are used to attach pipe to just about any container in situation where bulkheads will not work. The most common use is on curved surfaces such as storage drums, buckets, and even other pipe. Uniseals are provided in sizes intended for standard schedule 40 pipe (common household plumbing pipe). For example, a standard 2" schedule 40 PVC pipe requires a 2" Uniseal. We recommend using a hole saw for cutting holes where a Uniseal will be placed. After cutting the hole, remove any fragments of material left behind to ensure a good, watertight seal.

  • Pipe OD - 2.375 (60mm)
  • Holesaw size: 3" (76mm)
  • Up to 3/8" Wall Thickness.

This is not what I was looking for. I wanted a thicker softer type of gasket that could slide over the 2" PVC pipe and a 2" flat plate would be placed on top of the 2" softer gasket which would be bolted to the type plate which would compress the gasket against the 2" PVC pipe creating a seal.

Awesome products
These Uniseals are the real deal! Awesome product, great prices, great seller. I will be doing any Uniseal business through aussieglobe. com. Here's a little tip when installing, first soak them in hot water, makes them a bit softer. Then spray the pipe with soapy water to lube. I will be ordering again soon. I'd recommend to anyone that needs a Uniseal.

I've used these in the past, so they were my first choice to use for another project. The 2" Uniseal seems to be a little more difficult to insert the pipe into, but only requiring a little more effort. Fantastic seal.

I got the 2" uniseal for a rain collection system using 250 gallon IBC totes, and had no problem installing these! I've used the 3" in the past on a similar project without issue, and they've been working for over 1 year! Great product! The thing that really sets these apart is that you only have to work on the tank from the outside, as opposed with a bulkhead fitting. when working with IBC totes, this makes a huge difference, as otherwise you'd have to cut some hole in the top to get access.

I recently purchased some 2" uniseals. The order came very quickly and was exactly what I needed to run 2" PVC pipe through the side of a 55 gal plastic drum

I ordered 4 of the uniseals to build a methane generator out of a IBC tote. They worked great and I have put your link on my website. This is the best way I have found to put pipes for this kind of build so I will spread the word on your great service. Thanks Tom simplygridless

These things are so easy to work with and they provide a secure seal. The only advantage of a bulkhead fitting is being able to handle higher pressures, but for the vast majority of applications this is cheaper, faster to install and is more versatile, not requiring a flat surface.

Good product
I have installed 36 of these so far and not one leak. A word of advise to someone who has not used these - make sure you make a clean hole. If you used PVC pipe, taper the ends a bunch so they go in easily. If you can use dish soap - the pipes will go in easier. If you can't, then use water of cooking spray.

Works like a Charm
I bought this Uniseal because of it's flexibility. I don't know what it is but I just feel much better knowing that the seal will hold a tight seal even after the PVC pipes are accidently pressed up or down while connected to the Uniseal. I've head it for about 2 weeks now and I am loving it. Works like a Charm!!! Probably better than Bulkhead in my opinion.

Mr
This item works better than a bulkhead, drill hole put uniseal in hole, install pipe with soap for reduced friction. Don't worry if your uniseal fits in kinda sloppy before the install of the pipe, after the pipe is installed into the seal, your new connection is water tight. 3 weeks later on the bottom of a 55 gal drum... not one drop of water has been lost. Cost of a bulkhead the same size? $ 10-15. Just buy uniseal you will not be disappointed.

Dr.
A year after I could not find a reasonably priced vendor for uniseals I found "The Uniseal Warehouse. I could not be happier, reasonable price, fast shipping, and I didn't have to pay the Delivery guy brokerage which I hate when I order anything from the US that does not include Brokerage. The seals installed as described and I sleep like a baby knowing that my Shark tank won't leak.

These seals are wonderful as long as the pressure is low and the tank material thick enough. I have used them (1/2") in HDPE buckets even, but they are touchy with the thin wall. If you have a leak, just remove the seal and dry the location, then add a bead of hot glue around the inside of the seal and squish it all back into place and quickly add (if you can) a pipe to tighten things up or hand press it until the glue hardens.
