Low Profile Suction Strainer 1" Slip

I'm building a new bigger swirl filter for my aquaponics system. I'm using the strainer sitting on the bottom of the tank for the emulsion drain. With the curved face siting in the center of the barrel and it will have it's inlet as close to the bottom as possible. This design will have better suction than just the stand down pipe design IMO.

I've placed these in the bottom of my grow beds in an ebb and flow system, the low profile leaves less than an inch of water in the bed, allowing me to have a shallower bed and need to buy less grow media

This was exactly what I needed. Slim profile. I feel certain it will perform the way I need it to.

I haven''t installed it yet, but I think it will be the perfect fit for my application. I''m installing a drain in the bottom of my K1 biofilter and needed something with a good flow area but also small enough slots that K1 won''t pass through.
