Forget name of guy I spoke with but I called in to explain type of pipe I had and he knew right away what size it was and seal size needed I bought the appropriate size saw from harbor freight much cheaper than HD cut the holes popped in the seals. They seemed a little loose but when I pushed in the pipe everything was all snug and tight. Highly delighted with the product

Installed four 4 SDR 35. Filed the leading edge to a taper, used dish soap and a little water. Effortless installation. It took longer to file the edge than to push the pipe in. Follow the instructions provided. I am not sure why others have issues. If I have the need, I will definitely used them again. Worth every penny.

These are nearly impossible to insert a SDR35 schedule pipe into. It took 2 men, soap and a lot of grunt to get it in.

They work great on flatter surfaces, but going thru anything with much of a curve to it, like a blue water barrel, seems to have very minor leakage. Same problem on 5 different holes. Had to apply liquid rubber to finish off the seal.

Installed two on two 4500 gal fiberglass fish tanks 2 weeks ago (with fish already in the tanks) to create an overflow. So far so good, no leaks. Installs easy if pipe is excessively well lubricated. I used vegetable oil. If need to back out the pipe some, the pipe + seal on the inside need to be profusely lubricated. Allows you to angle the pipe to a significant degree as needed. Got lucky that the wall thickness was less than 1/2. IMHO the biggest potential drawback is that all (?) uniseals can only accommodate a wall thickness of less than 1/2. $5 Uniseal beats $70 bulkhead so far, albeit one can rig their own bulkhead much cheaper too with a mail and female threaded adapters and a rubber gasket.
